Invited celebrities to guest-curate @natgeo instagram for a day to promote their environmental initiatives. This included Angelina Jolie on Women for Bees, HRH Prince Harry on tree canopies, and Melina Gates on combatting poverty and disease.

During the COVID lockdown my team ran dozens of Instagram lives culminating in a single live that took viewers to National Geographic photographers and explorers on every continent.

Black Lives Matter Protests
To cover the BLM protests, we assigned photographers all over the country to cover the protests on Instagram in real-time.

100 Million Followers
To celebrate reaching 100 million followers, we held a contest on @natgeo Instagram inviting our followers to submit photos, with the winner getting a photo trip to Tanzania. Instagram users submitted more than 94,000 photos in 24 hours.
